Barnes and Noble update!

Just a quick update….I received a package in the mail today, so I’ll have a couple of goodies to give away tomorrow!  Yay!

See you all tomorrow!  And don’t forget your Barnes and Noble free coffee coupon!

Barnes and Noble tomorrow!

Just a quick reminder that I’ll be speaking at the Newport Barnes and Noble at Newport on the Levee tomorrow!  I’ll be speaking from 12-1, but will be there longer to answer questions as well.  I’ll be sharing my Top 5 Savings Secrets–my five planning techniques and tricks I use to save the way that I do!  There’s free parking and free activities for your kids!  And I’d love to meet you all!  Come on out!

Also, for everyone who’s been coming to the coupon classes and have follow up questions, I’ve created a group over at CincyMoms Like Me.  Come on over and ask questions, post comments or give feedback on the classes.  Too long?  Too much information in such a short time?  Better as one day class or did you like it split up into two?  Run into problems since you left?  Are you confused by something I said?  Come on over, I’ve got a spot for each of the classes!

I’m off to get my $10 list together…I’ll post it this evening.

Kmart Super Doubles are Back!

In many cities, super doubles begin again tomorrow at Kmart!  And this time, they’re running for a full week!  Just a quick reminder–coupons up to $2 double.  Coupons over $2 are at face value.  No IP’s will be accepted.  Coupons that are on multiple items often won’t double properly.  No overage will be given.

Here’s a great list of q’s matched to current Kmart prices to give you some idea of what to expect!

Here’s a few of the items I’ll be on the hunt for….Goodlife cat food (free after q’s), Healthful Life cat food (free after q’s), Gillette shampoo (free after q’s), coke 8 packs (free after q’s I bought on ebay), Bumblebee tuna (free after q’s)… I’m still sorting my list!

What will you be getting?

Here’s the matchups, thanks to Thuctrang at SD:

I’ve been Tagged!

Becky over at Nickles-N-Dimes tagged me on her site…so here goes!

7 Random or Weird Facts about LMKIA:

tagged.jpg

1.  I’ve had many, many jobs over my life.  I’ve worked as a security guard, as a personal trainer, as a campaign manager, a press secretary, and more!  And loved each one!

2.  I was raised by hippies.  That’s right, I grew up in a house where Woodstock was more than just Snoopy’s best friend.

3.  I loved punk/alternative/industrial music in the 80’s. Still do.

4.  I was an exchange student to Spain in high school.

5.   I have friends on 6 of the 7 continents.

6.  I am NOT a naturally organized person.

7.  I love the Gilmore Girls.  Emily and Richard Gilmore are my grandparents.  (not really, just almost identical to them!)

8.  I’ll give you 8 facts….I flunked out of college the first time round.  There were just too many interesting things to do to sit in a classroom for that long!  😉

Come see me!

Over the next several weeks, I’ll be making several public appearances.  I finish teaching the coupon class in Grant County this weekend (and a big HI to all of those wonderful ladies!!!) and then over the next few weeks I’ll be speaking to several groups.  To help you find me, I’ve added a Google calendar link in the blogroll to the right.  I’ve also added a link to a page on my website that features some of the news stories I’ve done recently.

But first, let me invite you out to Barnes and Noble at the Newport on the Levee next Wednesday, October 29th!  I’ll be there from noon to one, explaining some of my best coupon tips and tricks!  Even better, they’re offering free parking and free activities for the kids while we chat!  AND…if you print the Barnes and Noble coffee q I posted a few days ago, you can bring it in and get a free Cappuccino or other free coffee/tea!

I’d love to see all of you….

Which reminds me–if you have a group that would like to have me come speak, please email me and let me know at Littlemissknowitall at contentquake dot com.  Or if you have a location that could host the coupon class and would like to see one in your area, email me as well.  I’m looking to do one in each area of the city, and I’m needing some help finding locations!
