I’m teaching tonight at the Florence MOPS at the Vineyard Church, so I haven’t had much time to look at deals or prepare a $10 list. I will try to get to it by tomorrow. However, I thought I’d post some of the deals that popped out at me….
If you’re sitting on a raincheck for the Celestial Seasonings teas from a couple weeks ago at Kroger, there was a new coupon in yesterdays paper that makes them free! The sale was on $1 boxes of Celestial Seasonings–the q is for .55/1 which doubles to $1!
The $1 off Kellogg’s cereals is good too–especially at CVS and Wags this week! CVS has them 2/$4, so it makes them a $1 a box. Wags has them 4/$10 with a $2 RR when you buy 4. Buy 4, use 4 $1 q’s and get them 4/$6 with a $2 RR back. Not bad on Frosted Mini Wheats and others! Don’t forget there are printables about (in my Target blog down below) as well. Oh, and at Wags, while you can use the $2 RR on other items, this is not something you can use towards more cereal and still get another RR back. Wags instant rebates (the Register Rewards program) do not roll.
The Kroger Buy 10 get $5 off sale continues this week. Free Oatmeal, free sponges, free lint rollers, free VitaminWater, free Powerade, free Pepperoni (for about another few hours until they fix the misprint), free Hefty bags, lots of frees this week! And the cheaps are notable too! Cheap sugar, yeast, condensed and evaporated milk, chocolate chips, fruit roll ups, cereal, and so much more! Don’t miss this sale!

Hi LMKIA! Just wanted to post a deal I just found for those that have pets:
Get either 5-lb Nutro Dog Food or 4-lb Nutro Cat Food for free. Enter code GO4NC and make sure there is no space before or after the code.

Happy shopping!
Hi LMKIA,
I was looking at your site from when you were talking about Vontage phone service, and I called them to get some pricing. I am really frustrated w/ Cincy Bell. They told me that I could get 2 months free, and so could you since you referred me. I needed your phone # in order to give you the 2 free months, if you are interesed could you please email me? I was also wondering if you are still happy with Vontage, and with dsl service do you have? I was wondering how much extra that is on top of the Vontage. Thanks for your help and time.
Hi Lmkia!!
Any thoughts on were can I find Vitamin Water q’s? I looked in Ebay but they are too expensive.
Also, HEY ALL YOU COUPON FREAKS LIKE ME!, I just got in the mail some q’s today from ebay but the lady that sold them send them too late and they expire 11/30/08. They are for $1 off Zest soap and .50off on 2 on campbells harvest hearthy request. Also $1off on 2 smuckers uncrustables. I will like to share some with anybody that might want them or need them, not all of them but maybe like 5 or 10 of each. You will need to pick them up and I live in the West Chester area
I got mine on ebay….they do tend to be a little expensive, but right now I think they are exorbitantly high. I think I paid .20 each for mine–well worth it considering the current deal!
I also noticed for the Kroger mega deal that if you by in increments of 10 with coupons a few items are FREE!:
Hormel pepperoni 6-8 oz. $1.00 - .50 mega deal -.55 cpn doubled = FREE w/$.50 overage
Tylenol 24 ct Rapid release $2.50 -.50 mega deal - $2 cpn = FREE
Another great deal is the Edward’s pie $1.50 -.50 mega deal - $1/2 cpn in Sundays inserts = $.50 each
And of course, there are still all the great deals from last week. Happy Krogering!!

Julie, the Hormel was a misprint, and by now almost all of the Kroger’s have signs up retracting that. The true price is $3 before the B10G$5 discount.
I’ll posti t later, but I also noticed free Duncan Hines cake mixes and free icing with the q’s that were in this weekend’s paper!
LMKIA… Is this for the Duncan Hines carrot cake and frosting?
Yeah, its not free. I made a mistake! The carrot cake isn’t a part of the 10/10 deal. The cream cheese frosting is a part of the B10G$5 deal–so it’s .50 each after coupon.
Are your speaking appearance (ex: Moms of Twins And) open to public? I live in Anderson and it would be very convenient for me.
How do I sign up for your class on 11/22 and where is it?
Alison, I think it is, but I’m not sure. Let me check.
Blake, you can sign up over at lmkia.blogspot.com
I went Krogering (Deerfield Twnshp store) last night and noticed by the milk the have a display for Sara Lee Soft and Smooth bread with a q for 1.00 off milk when you by a loaf of bread so if you have to get bread and milk this is a good one. Kroger also sent out q’s for .75 off the bread a little while ago. I am not sure where or if the others stores have this.

Have you ever been to Meijer’s and come away totally frustrated? I did today. I was planning on some really great deals. However, I went to the Meijer’s store in Middletown…big mistake! I got chex mix, curves bars, GM cereals w/ the free milk, jello, and Lysol wipes 1/2 off. Well, when I went thru the checkout, some of my coupons weren’t doubling. I asked the cashier and her reply was, “Our store policy is only to double 2 coupons for the same things. The rest are at face value.” I checked and it was printed on their ad. I still got good deals, but I was expecting all 6 bags of the Chex Mix to be FREE. Have you ever encountered this? What would you have done? I just simply took the good deals, although, to be perfectly honest,I almost started returning items. I’ll just mark it up as a lesson not to shop that Meijer’s anymore!!
Kingdomklipper.blogspot.com
Yes, that’s their standard policy. What I do, and what most of us do, is to use the self checkouts and break things down into multiple transactions. If I have six bags, I’ll do three transactions–two bags per transaction. That way I get my doubles.
Its one of the reasons why when I teach the class, I teach how to write down the deals by store first, before you match coupons, b/c it makes a big difference which coupons you’ll choose to use. If I see Kroger and Meijer have the same deal, 99% of the time I’m going to choose Kroger, b/c they have unlimited doubles.
