I’m so jealous. Where are you finding all your Cottonelle coupons? I would love to have that much free toilet paper! LOL

I understand all the math and use of coupons, but here’s my question….that cottonelle coupon just came out today, where did you get 20 so quickly?

This is the one from August, it expired on Sunday.

Although, you can order coupons early at earlybirdcoupons.com. They are coupon printers, and will sell the coupons a week early–sometimes!

Jen, my coupons come from multiple sources. Sometimes, if its a REALLY good coupon week, I’ll buy 10 papers. I will easily save the $10 I spend, so its worth it to me. Many stores sell the Sunday paper for .99!

Or, I’ll get them from a coupon clipping service. Mama_Sold_It! is one of my favorites…as is CouponsNThingsbyDede. Both are really reliable services!

You are making my week at CVS look drab. I didn’t get my FREE Revitalift. :( I did ask for a rain check so I will still get it free when it comes in but I might try and run to another CVS to see if they have it today. :)

Oh yeah, CVS has a ton of 75% off school supplies and for all you Hannah Montana fans they had a ton of her stuff on 75% off, I got a bunch of stuff for a friends daughter for x-mas. :)

    Happy shopping!!

So, I went to Kroger last night for what I thought would be the first time I would get to have pretty nice savings with my coupons. However, all of the items I went in for, were gone. Sauve shampoo, Land of Lakes butter and Tennessee Pride Sauasage gravy- gone. Will it be like this every week? Will I need to go to the store Sunday morning to get the good deals? Thanks!

No, its usually not that bad. Typically the best deals (free) go fast, but as long as there are rainchecks, I don’t sweat over it! Rainchecks are a coupon shopper’s best friend!

For example, a few weeks ago they ran out of Aunt Millie’s whole grain bread during a BOGO sale. I got a raincheck for 12 loaves–the number of Q’s I had left. I go back the next week, and they had the bread on sale for $1 each! (Normally over $2) Now when they rang up the bread, it was $1 each, plus the BOGO raincheck, and the .35/1 coupons I had that they doubled! I ended up getting them all for free!

Same at CVS–one week they had All HE detergent BOGO and sold out quickly. Two weeks later when it was in stock, it was on sale for half off–so I not only got the BOGO, but I got the half off price too, plus my coupons! Rainchecks really are a GREAT thing!

I am so confused…I am trying the coupon thing but cannot get to your level of couponing. When do you order your coupons? how do you know what will be on sale so you can order your coupons. what days of the week do you shop? please help. I am unable to get to your class. have you ever thought of doing an online course? Thanks for any help you can give me.

I guess I was thinking rainchecks would be such a hassle. But, if they could pay off like that, it would be worth it. I guess I never thought of the benefit if the item went on sale even further. Thanks for the info. I’ll go back tonight and get my rainchecks!!

Donna, it takes time. The key is to build the stockpile…the rest comes. I’m able to keep my totals so low because I spent a good deal of time building my stockpile–though I got plenty of freebies then too–and now I’m really only feeding my stockpile. I’m not buying anything that doesn’t have a coupon attached to it!

Things have been crazy here this week, but today I plan (hopefully!) on getting up a $10 or less run for everyone!

HCW - has a coupon for South Beach bars $2/1- they are on sale 3/$7 and $3 off a gal of milk- with 3 q- that means you get boxes of bars and a gallon of milk for $1. woo hoo!

    Perfect Tonya! Thanks!

Make sure the cottonelle is on ANY and not the Aloe and E, as those q’s won’t get you the free toilet paper.
