Okay…have a question for you…How did you use the $3 on 3 Johnson and Johnson baby products Q…I didn’t see any baby products in your list of items purchased. Is this Q really good on some other products that I don’t know about? Please help…if there is something else I can use this Q on, I’d love to! :)As always- thanks!!
Okay, nevermind. I can’t believe I didn’t know what a “buddy bar” was! We even have these in our house…guess we just never paid attention to what they are formally called (instead of just “soap”)! LOL…Sorry!
I am new to this and just when I think I have it I missed it! I see how you got the deals, but I cant seem to find the q’s that you are using, hep with a hint please!
MY
Almost all of the drink q’s were off Ebay. There were Vitamin Water/Powerade q’s in the paper recently–look at the database over at HCW (Hotcouponworld) to find the dates they were in the paper. The Wheat Thin q’s were in the August All You magazine. (If you don’t already subscribe to that, find a kid selling magazines for school and get it! Get 4! Its worth it!!) Sara Lee, Glade and Johnson and Johnson were all in recent papers. Sara Lee is expired, earlier this month, but I had permission from the store to use them.
Kris, I love the buddy bars. They last longer than regular soaps, they don’t slip out of your hands, and they lather nicely. I give them to my grandparents–they can grip them easily!
Thanks for the advice, I found a large amount of q’s on HCW. Love it!!!
HCW Rocks!!!
Didn’t the All You Kraft/Wheat Thins Q have the size and price on it? Was it able to be used for the family sized box? How did that work?
the buddy bars shouldn’t have been purchased with a johnson’s BABY coupon. the buddy products are not part of the “baby” line. they are the buddy line.
sorry.
Mandy, sorry, I put in the wrong coupon in my description. I used the second coupon from that circular, the one that covered Children’s products and Buddy Products. I still have the Baby coupon in my binder. I’ll go correct it now.
Kristin, The All You coupon doesn’t say size, it only says “Free Up to $4.50 WYB xyz.” The boxes were 2/$6 at Meijer last week, making them only $3 each.
Ok got a question… I see on the Powerade and Caprisun shopping that you did and the totals that you actually made money…but how much did you pay for the coupons from Ebay? I think that should be figured in to get the real picture of what you saved. Don’t you?
Fred, that is very true. I didn’t figure them in because of the amount of math involved. I typically buy my coupons in 20 or more per bundle. Since each deal involves well less than the amount of coupons purchased, I didn’t do the math to divide a per coupon cost x the number used. Let me go back and do that…
Okay, based on a cost of .08 and .10 per coupon purchased (only the Sobe, Capri Sun and Vitamin Water q’s were purchased) then you can add $2.40 to the total bill. That takes me to a little over 80% savings.
