I’ve got $10, what do I buy?

There are some decent deals this week.Â Nothing spectacular.Â You’ll find me in the stores today, but I won’t be shopping all week!Â I still expect the best deals to begin towards the end of the month and into early October.

My picks for this week:

Free Land O Lakes butter at Meijer.Â Its part of the 10/$10 this week, and there’s a .55 coupon from the 8/24 Smartsource.Â Remember, Meijer only doubles the first two coupons, so you can either split it up into multiple transactions,Â or eat the .25 bonus they’d normally give you.Â (Don’t forget to check out my sidebar for links to sites where you can buy coupons!)Â Plus, if you buy 2 in one order, some are reporting they’re getting a Catalina coupon for .75 off their next order!Â So free plus .75 off your next order!Â Sweet!

Cheap Electrasol.Â There was a $2.25 off Electrasol tabs in this weekend’s paper.Â Meijer has them on sale for $3–making them only .75 for 20 tabs!

Aquafresh is also free at Meijer.Â $1 each, with .50 off coupon in this weekend’s paper–doubles to $1 so its free!

Colgate Total is free over at CVS.Â On sale for BOGO at $3, so use two coupons from the August All You magazine (available at Walmart) or from Colgate’s website.Â Use both coupons to make them free!Â (Yes, CVS corporate policy allows you to use two coupons on a BOGO sale.)

Malt O Meal cereal is also free at CVS this week, with coupons for $1 off printed at Coupons.com.

Chex Mix is also free at CVS, with this $1 printable.

Last, a Catalina deal at Kroger–and this one is a golden goodie, if you’re loaded with Powerade coupons!Â Buy 6 Powerade Zeros, get a $4 Catalina OYNO!!!Â Now, the Powerades are supposedly priced at .79 each, so with the $1 coupons, they’re free!!!Â So, on your next order, get 6 more Powerades, and $4 in other items, and its all free!!Â LOVE IT!!

So here’s my rundown:

I stopped in at Meijer this afternoon, and found a few more great deals. The Lysol toilet bowl cleaner is 50% off, making it $1.04 per bottle. Add in a $0.50 coupon, and you purchase each one for only $0.04. The wipes are also on sale for $1.24. There are $1/1 coupons, making these $0.24 each.

They have Spray ‘N Wash (the spray and the stick) on sale for $1.14. With the $0.50 coupon doubled, it makes each of these $0.14.

Unfortunately, they were out of the wipes, so I got a rain check instead. However, I bought 6 bottles of toilet bowl cleaner, 2 bottles of Spray ‘N Wash, and 3 Spray ‘N Wash sticks for $0.94!

Thanks Little Miss, I had my first completely free shopping experience yesterday. Three boxes of cereal and two bags of ChexMix at CVS without handing over a dime. I felt a little bit like a shoplifter, but the checker didn’t bat an eye - she just said, “You got out of here good today.”

I guess I am not having much success with the coupon shopping experiences! I went to CVS on Montgomery Rd, the ChexMix was not on sale, they did not have the cereal and were sold out of the tooth paste. Maybe I will have more sucess at meijer’s.

Peggy, the ChexMix small bags are on sale–they were in the ad. They may not have had them marked…but they were in the national and local circular.

Make sure to get rainchecks! The rainchecks at CVS don’t expire, so you can wait until they restock and use the best coupons then!

FREE after ECB’s on the L’oreal face cloths. I really liked them, just wipe off your make up and you are done. YIPPY. I don’t wear it often but when I do it will be nice to have.

Does anyone know how long it takes to ship the coupons from places like the coupon clippers? If I were to order coupons on a Monday or Tuesday, would they come before the sales for that week end?
