Hi everyone! There have been so many people new to the site…I’m still playing catch up trying to keep up with everything that’s been happening! Until late June we averaged about 250 people a day to the site. Now? Now we average 2000 or more a day! I am so excited to see all of you!! But please, forgive me the growing pains! I’m learning, slowly but surely, how to do all of this technical stuff!!
There have been a lot of questions about the class, and I just wanted to say that We’re working on it!! I’m as anxious as all of you are! We’ve had a lot of opportunities lately, all conflicting with the other. One had the space but no child care. The other had the child care but not necessarily all of the space we needed. A sponsor came in, hedged a bit, and has been put on hold. All of that stalled things longer than we’d like. I say ‘we’ because Cincymoms is the official sponsor, and is helping me put all of these things together. For those of you who haven’t been around the site for long, here’s a little backstory: a few months ago a number of ladies I chat with over at Cincymoms asked me to do a class. I was hesitant, but agreed, thinking we’d have 20-30 people. Was I ever blown away when I had to close the class at 90 registrants due to space!!! NONE of this was anything I’d expected, so I’m still playing catch up and getting things set up the right way, to make it easiest on all of you!
So, just a hint–we’re working hard today and tomorrow to get the details finalized. We’re looking at the third weekend in September, with a location on the northern side of Cincinnati. We will be setting up 3 more classes for late fall and early next year, with one in each area of the city. I hate telling all of you to wait, yet again, but we’re really working to move ahead on this!
Last, for any of you who are brand, spankin’ new and want to know who the heck LittleMissKnowitAll is, I don’t blame ya! I’m a stay at home mom of two young kids (ages 8 and 4), and last year when I lost my job I discovered couponing. I volunteer in short term missions to Africa and Guatemala for my church, and all of the money raised via classes, guides, and RME go straight into supporting missions. If you want to see any of the news stories that have been done, you can find links and clips to all of them over at Littlemissknowitall.net. I also have begun posting the answers to common questions, along with assembling a page of links to some of the most popular blogs that I’ve done. The purpose of that site is really to give a central gathering place for most of the information we give out here–and to help you when you have questions.
Again, welcome and I hope you enjoy the deals! Feel free to ask questions!

On your news segment you did recently you spoke about getting a $1000 washing machine for $200. Can you please tell me how you did that?? Thanks, Jamie Mason
Jamie, that was a multi-layered deal. So many things came together at the same time…and I never knew that part would be aired! We were just chatting then, I had no idea he was filming me instead of my messy pantry!
Okay, so here’s how it worked: There was a gift card deal at Sears and Kmart in the spring, where you got 20% bonus. We put some of our stimulus check and tax return there, and had nearly $300 in bonus cards left. Then we opened bank accounts at Chase bank, which gave each of us $125 in bonuses for opening the account. That gave us $250. Add in a 10% off sale plus a 10% friends and family discount for two days only, along with a rebate on the delivery fee. Add it all together, our washer and dryer combo that once cost right at $1000, now cost us about $250 out of pocket.
