$3.48 for Gas!!! Oh wait…

Is it wrong that I’m so excited over paying $3.48 for gas yesterday?  I mean, what kind of warped world do we live in where I’m THRILLED over that?

I’d been down to Louisville visiting the original KnowitAll’s…aka my family.  (Yes, I come from a long line of very proud KnowitAlls.)  I was driving home to Northern KY when I saw a sign for a brand new station just outside Sparta advertising gas for $3.48 a gallon.  Now, this station is in the middle of nowhere.  And by the middle of nowhere, I mean that its the brand new exit outside the KY Speedway–and there’s nothing out there but farms and the Speedway.  Its at least 30 minutes from the nearest large population areas.  There were lines at each set of pumps 4-5 cars deep.  Seems LOTS of people were driving there to get cheap gas! 

So while it won’t help most of you…if you’re headed to or from Louisville, stop in!  There’s a McDonald’s there too….

And in Sligo (closer to Louisville) gas was $3.53.  Again, not bad considering in Louisville and NKY it was $3.75!

    I got gas last week at the Speedway on Rt. 42 north of I-275 in Cincinnati for $3.49!
